Sonya Roberts Joins Advisory Board of Indigenous-Owned Seeing Red Media
We’re proud to share that Nolan Heimann Foreign Legal Consultant Sonya Roberts has joined the Advisory Board of Seeing Red Media, an Indigenous-owned production company based in the vibrant community of Six Nations of the Grand River.
In this role, Sonya brings her strategic acumen and industry expertise to support the company’s creative vision, brand development, and business growth. As a trusted advisor, she works alongside the Seeing Red team to help shape key initiatives, expand partnerships, and amplify the voices of Indigenous storytellers through story-driven content.
Founded by Bryan Porter (Mohawk, Six Nations), Seeing Red exists to elevate the representation and cultural accuracy of Indigenous Peoples across film, television, and all forms of media. With roots grounded in the Six Nations Reserve—Canada’s largest by population—the company is a rising force in the global storytelling movement, operating at the intersection of culture, impact, and entertainment.
