Early in his career, Abdul successfully reversed two different trial court rulings on appeal, the beginning of what has become a reputation for taking on trademark prosecution cases requiring the most challenging legal arguments, substantial law and motion research, and writing precision.
He brings his creative and strategic talents to formulating and drafting media production and technology transaction agreements, counseling and drafting data privacy policies, prosecuting and litigating trademark matters before the USPTO and federal courts.
In matters involving tech development, web domain/UDRP disputes, publicity/privacy rights and data privacy and security, Abdul’s depth of knowledge and interest is informed by an undergraduate degree in Computer Science.
Abdul tries to squeeze in a run or two during the week and improves his workout by doing squats with his 10-month old sitting on his shoulders. He plays the guitar and he feeds his love of music by exploring record stores for a great find.
